HTC FLYER TABLET with 1.5GHz single-core CPU

HTC has officially announced its new tablet, the HTC Flyer, at MWC 2011. After the rumors of the past few weeks, the Flyer’s existence hardly comes as a surprise; however, some of the technology decisions HTC has made – including supplying it with an active stylus – are pretty surprising.
HTC Flyer
Its brand new 7-inch Flyer Android tablet, which touts a 1.5GHz single-core CPU, 1GB of RAM plus 32GB of flash storage, an aluminum unibody construction, 1024 x 600 resolution, a tablet-optimized version of Sense, and... what's this, a pressure-sensitive stylus! The HTC Scribe trademark we saw floating around in legal waters turned out not to be the branding for a tablet, it's actually the name HTC gives to the technology enabling what it calls a "groundbreaking pen experience." Other details include a 5 megapixel camera on the back paired with a 1.3 megapixel imager up front, a 4000mAh battery rated to last for four hours of continuous video playback, and memory expandability via a microSD card.

XBox Kinect the best motion controller

Xbox Kinect
With its emphasis on fun over graphics, the Nintendo Wii has been the surprise hit of the current generation of game consoles. It's taken a few years, but Sony and Microsoft have finally answered the motion-gaming call with the PlayStation Move and the Xbox Kinect (reviewed here). Whether your loyalties lie with motion gaming,
Nobody ever said pioneering a new type of controller would be an easy thing. Go ask the guys at Nintendo about how unresponsive the Wii could be if not used precisely enough for a particular game. Or we could ask Sony about those barely function Sixaxis controls that are almost never used in any games except when shoehorned in poorly. Microsoft's Kinect follows along on this trend, faring much better than the Sixaxis but a bit behind the Wii. Why has it fallen behind on the Wii when it theoretically should be a superior experience?
Though it can broadly be called a "motion controller," Microsoft's Kinect is a different beast. Unlike both Sony's Move and Nintendo's Wii MotionPlus controllers--which detect motion as you wave them around in your hands--Kinect turns your entire body into the "controller," with the Kinect hardware--a motion detector/camera that you set up in front of or on top of your TV--converting your movements into gestures that the Xbox can understand.

Logitech G25 Racing Steering Wheel

While gaming consoles and computers have made huge leaps in performance and realism, the human interface often gets left behind. Advanced game consoles such as the PS3 still make use of a standard controller. While they do offer motion sensing and are wireless, they do not give the user the real-world experience like the more expensive simulators. Gamers can now rejoice with the realism offered by Logitech's new G25 Racing Wheel. The G25 is a premium package that features a premium force-feedback steering wheel designed for simulated racing and includes the world’s first dual-configuration gaming shifter that changes with a flip of a knob. In one of the modes there is a six-speed gated shifter with a separate reverse gear and in the other mode a sequential up/down shifter. This enables the system to deliver a great experience on games that don’t support a full six-speed shifter. Out of the box, the G25 is designed to deliver an experience to remember with impressive performance and a great feel.

First of its kind two-motor force-feedback mechanism with the G25 wheel console, providing stronger and a lot of precise feedback. With a second motor, the directional forces are a lot of realistic and evenly distributed throughout the wheel — drivers can feel everything from the banks within the road to impact with walls, structures and alternative cars. The two-motor system is additionally a lot of quieter than alternative force-feedback solutions.

RIM BlackBerry Torch 9800

RIM introduced the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 Smartphone in market featuring capacitive touch screen, easy-to-use BlackBerry keyboard, full HTML browser with pinch to zoom or fluidly navigate and the optical trackpad. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 Smartphone is the first BlackBerry smartphone to launch with latest BlackBerry 6 operating system, a new operating system that retains the familiar and trusted features that distinguish the BlackBerry brand while delivering a fresh, approachable and engaging experience that’s powerful and easy to use.

BlackBerry Torch 9800

Another slightly surprising aspect of the Torch is that's it's a slider, combining its touchscreen with the traditional BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard. This is understandable really as RIM's pedigree is in this arena, but it's hard to escape the feeling that the touchscreen interface and physical keyboard are uncomfortable bedfellows, allies thrust together in an acrimonious peace. RIM has dodged one glaring oversight of the Palm Pre, however, as it has added a touchscreen keyboard to supplement the physical one.
The RIM BlackBerry Torch is the first model to ship running BlackBerry OS 6, and much like the phone's design, when revamping the BlackBerry platform, RIM wanted to present something both fresh and familiar. There's a good bit of the familiar but a greater amount that's new, so this is definitely a major overhaul of the platform and not just a few added features.

HTC Incredible S

The first thing to note about the HTC Incredible S is that it brings a new and popular screen size to the HTC line. Stepping in at 4-inches, it is the same size as the popular Samsung Galaxy S, and in terms of screen size sits between the HTC Desire HD and the new HTC Desire S handsets. In big screen sizes HTC now have something for everyone.

Blackberry Curve 3G

A quick and clever QWERTY-toting BlackBerry for the budget-conscious

The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is a perked-up version of the entry-level BlackBerry Curve 8520, with 3G connectivity and slightly more oomph under the hood. But its trackpad is frustrating, and it offers absolutely nothing to get excited about. Overall, the Curve 3G is the definition of 'decent but dull'.

The BlackBerry Curve 3G looks like yet another BlackBerry handset. Its full QWERTY keyboard sits below a 2.4-inch screen, with the 2-megapixel camera on the reverse.
